HOURLY

EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT

Includes a minimum of 10 hours of support

This level provides the support you may need while implementing the program into your region.  We offer hours for consultation, in-person training (additional costs for travel) or Zoom sessions.  Let us know where you need help and we will design the training to suit your needs.

Depending on your needs, the training would come from the education side or industry side. It can involve hosting joint meetings with your business and industry panel to get everyone on board. It can include staff training for others within your agency or within a district that you serve.

After the initial support is completed, we can offer additional hours if needed.

Automotive Service II Instructor

Lake County Tech Campus

I have been a part of the Automotive Industry for 25 years and teaching at high school students for 17 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and am a Master ASE Certified Technician.

Throughout my career, the need for training has been made evident as well as ample hands-on experience to get a firm understanding for how to make proper repairs as well as teach relevant skills. In today’s ever changing technologies, this couldn’t be more true. Our country, now more than ever, is in desperate need of these trained individuals. I believe it is vital that hands-on training be part of the process through lab training, internships and apprenticeships which allow students the opportunity to apply first-hand what they are learning in the classroom.
